Before Setting Oven Controls

Oven Vent Location
The oven vent is located above the control panel
When the oven is on, warm air passes through this vent. This
venting is necessary for proper air circulation in the oven and
good baking results. Do not block oven vent. Steam or moisture
may appear near the oven vent. This is normal.

Protective liners — Do not use aluminum foil to
line the oven bottom. Only use aluminum foil as recommended
in this manual. Improper installation of these liners may result in
risk of electric shock, or fire

the lowest rack position for roasting large cuts of meat.

Arranging, Removing, and Replacing Racks
Always use pot holders or oven mitts when using
the oven. When cooking, the oven interior and exterior, and
oven racks will become very hot which can cause burns.
To arrange - always arrange the oven racks when the oven is
cool.
To remove - pull the rack forward until it stops. Lift up front of
rack and slide out.
To replace - fit oven rack onto the rack guides on both sides of
oven walls. Tilt the front of oven rack upward and slide the rack
back into place. Be sure oven racks are level before using.:
Important:
Do not line the oven walls, racks, bottom, or any other parts
of the range with aluminum foil. Doing so will alter heat
distribution, produce poor baking results, and may cause
permanent damage to the oven interior.
