Enjoying the Radio

Connect the FM/AM aerials to the subwoofer
(page 10) and preset radio stations.

Presetting radio stations
You can preset 20 FM stations, and 10 AM
stations. Before tuning, make sure to turn down
the volume to minimum.

Press "/1 to turn on the system.

Press TUNER/BAND repeatedly to select
FM or AM.

Press and hold TUNING –/+ until auto
scanning starts.
Scanning stops when the system tunes in a
station. The "TUNED" indicator (along with
the "ST" indicator for stereo programmes)
lights up in the centre unit display.

Press TUNER MEMORY.
A preset number appears.

The station is stored.

Repeat steps 2 to 6 to store other stations.

To change the preset number

Repeat the above steps and select a different preset

FM or AM.

The last received station is tuned in.

Press PRESET –/+ to select the preset
station you want.

Press 2 +/– to adjust the volume.

To listen to non-preset radio stations
Use manual or automatic tuning in step 3 above.
• To tune in a station manually, press TUNING
–/+.
• To start auto tuning, press and hold TUNING
–/+. If you want to stop scanning, press
TUNING –/+ again.

If FM sound is noisy
Press FM MODE so that "MONO" appears in the
centre unit display. There will be no stereo effect,
but reception will improve. To restore the stereo
effect, press FM MODE again.
