Use this flowchart to determine whether the TV is currently in Commercial Mode.

Check and connect communication cables.
Check/connect the TV power cord.
TV needs to be turned ON (default setting of Installer Menu
item 118 POWER SAVINGS).
In the FTG Device Configuration Application, select the
correct COM port for the cable being used.
