Phone Settings
The Phone menu enables you to confi gure
handset features including time and date,
scheduling power on and off, input methods,
language, default encoding type, shortcut,
greeting text, speed dial, automatic update of
date and time, and LED light.
To access the phone setup menu:
From the main menu, select Settings >
Phone Settings.
A list of phone settings is displayed.
Date/Time
The Settings > Phone Settings > Date/Time
option enables you not only to set the time,
but also enables you to set a time zone by
selecting your location and set a format for
displaying dates.
Power On/Off Timer
The phone can be set to turn on or off
automatically. The Settings > Phone Settings
> Power On/Off Timer option enables you to
schedule times to turn power on or off.
Up to four power on / off times can be defi ned.
Highlight a number from the list using the
joystick and press the enter key.

Settings
Use the right and left joystick keys to change
settings for each fi eld.
The Status fi eld sets the status of the phone to
On or Off at the time of the scheduled power
on/off. The Power fi eld sets whether the phone
is to turn On or Off. The Time fi eld sets the time
for the power to turn on or off.
In the submenu, use the joystick to move
between fi elds and the center joystick button to
change a setting.
Defi ne the status, enabled or disabled. Defi ne
the event, on or off, and defi ne the time.
Input Method
The Settings > Phone Settings > Input
Method enables you to set the default input
method for entering numbers, or roman
alphabet or Chinese characters.

Language
The Settings > Phone Settings > Language
option enables you to set the default language
used in menus. Select from English, Simplifi ed
Chinese, or Traditional Chinese.
