1 Technical Description
1.1 Range of Application
The type 7MF1562 is a pressure transmitter for measuring
relative pressures of the gases, liquids and steam in the
energetics and mechanical engineering industry, ship building,
water supply etc. One application example is the measuring of
the pressure of compressed air containing oil in compressors
and compressor stations.
1.2 Structure
The pressure transmitter consists of a thin-film measuring cell
with a ceramic diaphragm and electronics board both installed in
the brass housing. The electrical connection is made by a right-
angled connector (DIN 43650) with a Pg 9 cable gland. The
device is connected with the process connection G½A (external
thread) or G?A (internal thread) made of brass.
1.3 Functional Principle
The thin-film measuring cell has a thin-film resistor bridge at
which the measuring pressure p is transferred by a ceramic
diaphragm. The measuring cell output voltage is fed to an
amplifier and converted into an output current I
stage.
The device is fed by power supply U
too high a supply voltage are prevented by the protective diodes
at the input. The device is protected against high frequency
interference by an RF choke, capacitor and transorb diode
