Procedures and Settings

The procedures for using the Web server function are shown below.
1.
Set the parameters. (Page 117 Parameter settings)
2.
Access (log into) the CPU module from the browser. (Page 120 Access to Web server)
3.
Operate the Web browser screen.
4.
Log out from the Web server. (Page 122 Logging out from Web server)
Required conditions for using Web server function
• Use devices (personal computer, etc.) that can communicate with the CPU module via Ethernet.
• Install a Web browser that can run the Web server function on the communication device (personal
computer, etc.). (Page 116 Client operation environment)
• Enable JavaScript and Cookies in the Web browser settings.

Parameter settings

To use the Web server function, the Web server function settings and account settings must be made with the parameters
from GX Works3.
The Web server function settings are shown below.
