Hardware and software limit switches
Crossing of hardware and software limit switches is detected in coupled axes; in the coupled
state, the software limit switch is generally crossed on slave axes. The alarm is output on the
slave axis, while braking is initiated via the master axis.
The path traveled after detection of the slave software limit switch equals the distance
required by the master axis to brake the coupling.
