How Four Eye Authentication feature Works
MAXPRO NVR 5.6 Installation and Configuration Guide
For an Non Administrator user

When an Non Administrator user tries to perform a playback operation then the following
dialog box appears on th screen.

Enter the credentials of Administrator user or a User from different role.
Note:
For authentication, the logged in user and the Administrator user should not be of
same role.
The following table explains the Four eye authentication based on the user and roles

Click the Authenticate button to view the playback video. After authentication the Four
eye authenticated user and logged in user icons are displayed on the top of the screen as
highlighted below. For example: In the below image for a test1 user, an administrator
authenticates and the corresponding users are created.

Until the four eye authenticated user is logged in, the operator can perform any
playback operation.
