5.6 Connecting the power supply
120V power supply
Use a flexible cable with the following characteristics:
• UL approval
• CSA label
• Type STJ with three conductors
• At least 18 AWG conductor cross-section
• Maximum 4.5 m length
• Parallel grounded safety plug 15 A, min. 125 V
230V power supply
Use a flexible cable with the following characteristics:
• UL approval
• CSA label
• Type STJ with three conductors
• At least 18 AWG conductor cross-section
• Maximum 4.5 m length
• Parallel grounded safety plug 15 A, min. 250 V
Procedure
1. Insert the supplied power cable into the AC/DC power socket of the device.
2. Fasten the power plug with the locking device supplied in the package. This will prevent
unintentional detachment of the IEC power connector on the device.
