Station Configuration
Microbox 427B-RTX , Microbox 427B-HMI/RTX ,
and Panel PC 477B-HMI/RTX include an initial
configuration for all components. No configuration
in the Station Configuration Editor or WinLC
Properties is necessary, unless you have a
requirement to change the configuration or use
other SIMATIC software components, such as
SIMATIC WinCC flexible. See the topic
" Downloading PC Station Components " for more
information.
The tasks described in the "Configuring
Communication Interfaces" section of the Getting
Started chapter of the WinAC RTX
documentation are not necessary for Microbox
427B-RTX/ -HMI/RTX and Panel PC 477B-
HMI/RTX.

1.6 Additional information about WinAC RTX
The setup installs WinLC RTX in index 2 of the
Station Configuration Editor. You use the Station
Configuration Editor to configure any other
components of the PC Station that you require for
your application. For DP I/O, you must configure
the submodules of WinLC RTX with the Station
Configuration Editor and the WinLC Properties
dialog.
The Getting Started chapter of the WinAC RTX
documentation describes this configuration
process.
