To prevent accidental starting, the steps
described in this chapter must be
performed with the motor off and the
power cable removed from the socket, if
not otherwise stated.
Wear personal protective equipment. See
instructions under the heading "Personal
protective equipment".
The life span of the machine can be
reduced and the risk of accidents can
increase if machine maintenance is not
carried out correctly and if service and/or
repairs are not carried out professionally.
If you need further information please
contact your nearest servicing dealer.
•
Always disconnect the power cable before carrying
out service.
Daily maintenance
General
•
Check that the machine's safety equipment is
undamaged. See instructions in the section
"Machine's safety equipment".
•
Clean the outside of the machine. Do not use a high
pressure washer to clean the saw.
•
Do not use water to clean the motor and electric
cabinett.
•
Open the blade guard. Make sure to clean the water
channel on the bottom edge of the blade guard. Clean
both the inside and outside, and close the blade
guard.
•
Loosen the conveyor cart's two collection trays, both
the rear and the front, and clean them.
•
Loosen the water collecting tray and clean it.
Wheel rims/runners
•
Clean the wheel rims and runners.
Water pump
•
Run through the water system for a short period in
order to prevent hoses getting blocked with slurry.

electric parts with water.

MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE
Trouble shooting the water pump
•
Make sure the lead to the water pump is connected.
•
Make sure the valve on the water pump is set to the
correct position.
Do the following if the water pump stops pumping
water
•
Stop cutting.
•
Shut down the machine and disconnect the power
plug.
•
Remove the water pump.
Clean the water pump
•
Unscrew the suction filter (1).
•
Unsnap the partition wall (2) for further cleaning.
•
Prise loose the pump impeller (3).
•
Pull out the pump impeller (5) and shaft (4) and clean
the parts including the housing. Make sure the pump
impeller rotates freely and is clean all round. A cloth
may be used to remove iron particles that might
adhere to the magnetic rotor shaft.
Water drain
Clean the water recovery tray after every use.
•
Stop the cutting.
•
Lift the water recovery tray and pull to release the
back of the water recovery tray.
•
Lift up and release the plastic hook from under the
cart.
•
Clean the water recovery tray and put it back.
Plastic wheels, conveyor cart
•
Inspect the plastic wheels on the conveyor cart and
change if damaged.
