1. Remove the
right-side
cover.
2. Remove the
front
cover.
Procedure
1. Disconnect the power cable from the optical drive.
2. Disconnect the data cable from the optical drive.
3. Pull to slide the slim optical-drive assembly out through the front of the computer.
4. Using your finger tips, pry the slim optical-drive bracket from the optical drive.
5. Lift the slim optical-drive assembly off the slim optical-drive bracket.
