Redundant setting in iDRAC is not supported. NOTE: PowerEdge XE9680 system also supports 3+3 PSU redundancy. When two or more PSUs are down, this fault tolerant redundant mode triggers GPU power brake and GPU clocks are throttled to one-fourth and GPU performance will drop to around one-fifth.

Ensure that you clear the web browser cache before downloading the drivers and firmware. Steps 1. Go to Drivers. 2. Enables you to configure the Dell AVX scaling technology. This option is set to 0 by default. Enter the value from 0 to 12 bins. The value that is entered decreases the Dell AVX Scaling Technology frequency when the Dell-controlled Turbo feature is enabled.

Air shroud Removing the air shroud Prerequisites CAUTION: Never operate your system with the air shroud removed. The system may get overheated quickly, resulting in shutdown of the system and loss of data. 1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions.

CAUTION: To prevent data loss, ensure that your operating system supports hot-swap drive installation. See the documentation supplied with your operating system. CAUTION: When a replacement hot swappable drive is installed and the system is powered on, the drive automatically begins to rebuild. Ensure that the replacement drive is blank or contains data that you wish to overwrite.
