To tune in a particular frequency manually: 1 KS-FX740R/FX640R: Select the band (FM or AM) by pressing FM/AM. KS-F540R: Select the band (FM or AM) by pressing FM or AM. ¢ or 4 2 Press and hold until “M” starts flashing on the display.
When an FM stereo broadcast is hard to receive: Press MO/RND/ (KS-FX740R), MO/RND (KS-FX640R) or MO (KS-F540R) while listening to an FM stereo broadcast. The MO (Mono) indicator lights up on the display. The sound you hear becomes monaural but reception will be improved.
You can preset up to 6 stations in each band (FM1, FM2, FM3 and AM) manually. EXAMPLE: Storing an FM station of 88.3 MHz into preset number 1 of the FM1 band KS-FX740R/FX640R KS-F540R Select the FM1 band. FM /AM Tune into a station of 88.3 MHz.
Tuning into a preset station You can easily tune into a preset station. To do this, you must store stations first. If you have not stored them yet, see pages 5 and 6. KS-FX740R/FX640R KS-F540R KS-FX740R/FX640R FM /AM KS-F540R Select the band (FM1, FM2, FM3 or AM) you want.
RDS OPERATIONS What you can do with RDS EON RDS (Radio Data System) allows FM stations to send an additional signal along with their regular programme signals. Selecting Your Favorite Programme for PTY Standby Reception You can select your favorite programme for PTY Standby Reception to store in memory.
