To remove the control board:
1. Remove the room cabinet (see

4. Remove the 3 Phillips-head bracket screws that
hold the triangular metal bracket in place (see
photo). Remove the bracket and control board.

5. Remove the 2 Phillips-head control board screws
and two 11-mm hex nuts that hold the control
board in place (see photo).
6. Remove the control board from the bracket
by squeezing the two plastic locking tabs (see
photo) and gently pressing the control board
down.
Control Box Components
Note: The following information is for units with AC
fan motors. Units with DC fan motors do not have
capacitors.
The control box houses the indoor fan capacitor,
outdoor fan capacitor, compressor capacitor,
transformer, main power connector, and power
supply board.

bracket must be removed to access the control box.
