RM-529; RM-530; RM-584 ESD protection ESD protection Nokia requires that service points have sufficient ESD protection (against static electricity) when servicing the phone. Any product of which the covers are removed must be handled with ESD protection. The SIM card can be replaced without ESD protection if the product is otherwise ready for use.

RM-529; RM-530; RM-584 General Information Product selection RM-529, RM-530 and RM-584 are quadband phones. RM-529 supports WCDMA850/1900/2100 bands and WLAN. RM-530 supports WCDMA900/1900/2100 bands and WLAN. RM-584 supports WCDMA850/1900/2100 bands, but does not support WLAN. The devices have HSDPA and HSUPA.

Charging a dead battery Charging of a dead battery has to be carried out via an approved NOKIA charger. Charging of a dead battery via a PC is not allowed since this procedure is not including a current regulator (the battery can be charged with a too high current level).
