Drinks Risk of scalding. There is a possibility of delayed boiling when a liquid is heated. This means that the liquid reaches boiling temperature without the usual steam bubbles rising to the surface. The slightest vibration of the container can cause the hot liquid to suddenly boil over or spatter.

Cooling with the appliance Only leave the cooking compartment to cool with the door open door closed. Do not trap anything in the appliance door. Due to thermal inertia, the displayed temperature may differ slightly from the actual temperature in the cooking compartment.
Accessories The accessories can be inserted into the oven at 3 different levels. The accessories can become deformed when they become hot. As soon as they have cooled down, the deformation disappears with no effect on the function. You can buy accessories from the after sales service, from specialist retailers or online.
Special accessories You can purchase special accessories from the after sales service or specialist shops. You will find a comprehensive range of products for your oven in our brochures and on the Internet. Potatoes Boiled potatoes: cut into pieces of equal size. Add 2 tablespoons of water per 100 g potatoes, and salt to taste. Unpeeled boiled potatoes: use potatoes of the same size. Wash the potatoes and prick the skin several times. Place them in a dish while still wet. Do not add water.

Sabbath mode With this setting, the oven maintains a temperature of 85 ºC for top/bottom heating. You can set a cooking time of between 24 and 73 hours. During this time, food stays warm in the cooking compartment without the need to switch the oven on or off.
Childproof lock To ensure that children cannot switch on the oven accidentally or change a cooking time setting, the oven has a childproof lock. Press and hold the @ button until the @ symbol Activating the childproof lock appears. This takes about 4 seconds. The control panel is locked.

Slow cooking Slow cooking, also known as low temperature cooking, is the ideal cooking method for all tender pieces of meat which are to be cooked medium rare or "à point". Meat remains very succulent and tender. Advantages: The benefit of this cooking method is that it allows lots of scope for menu planning because slow cooked meat is easy to keep warm.
Even large joints of meat do not need to be turned. You can cut the meat immediately after slow cooking. No standing time is required. Due to the special cooking method, the meat always looks pink in the middle. This does not mean, however, that it is raw or not well done enough.
