Due to the inherent operating principle and construction of circuit breakers, independent of the manufacturer, hot ionized gases may escape from the breaker enclosure in case of a short-circuit.     Protecting the drive against ground faults The drive is equipped with an internal ground fault protective function to protect the unit against ground faults in the motor and motor cable. Measure the insulation resistance between the combined conductors and the PE conductor by using a measuring voltage of 1 kV DC.

Connect the twisted shield of the input cable to the PE terminal even if it is not used as the PE conductor. Removing the protective covering The protective covering on top of the drive module prevents dust from borings and grindings from entering the module when installing.
