Tuner Scanning DAB stations Before you can receive DAB, you must register the contents of broadcasts (service components) so that they can be received by the DAB tuner using the DAB Automatic Scan procedure. Find your problem in the troubleshooting checklist below and take the indicated corrective action. If the problem persists after doing all of the above, consult your nearest Sony dealer. When the STANDBY indicator flashes Immediately unplug the mains lead and check the following items. - Page 26 • Locate the aerials as far away from the speaker cords as possible. • Consult your nearest Sony dealer if the supplied AM aerial has come off the plastic stand. • Try turning off surrounding electrical equipment. A stereo FM program cannot be received in stereo.

The appropriate display or information does not appear. • Contact the radio station and find out whether or not they actually provide the service in question.
