Tuner Operations Listening to FM/AM radio You can listen to FM and AM broadcasts through the built-in tuner. There is no sound from one of the front speakers. • Connect a pair of headphones to the PHONES jack to verify that sound is output from the headphones. If only one channel is output from the headphones, the component may not be connected to the receiver correctly.

There is no sound from the speakers of the receiver when you connect the receiver and the playback component via a HDMI connection. • Make sure that you have connected the digital audio jacks on the playback component to the receiver. Then, turn off TV’s volume or activate the TV’s muting function.
