Bead Ruptor sample tubes. The intratube forces generated by the Bead Ruptor 24 during the homogenization process are up to 400 x g. Intratube forces are dependent on the speed setting and the bead media present inside the tube. Omni pro- vides unique tubes that are designed to withstand such high forces.
SECTION 4 — BEAD RUPTOR OPERATION 4.1 LOADING SAMPLE TUBES When using a 1.5 mL microtube carriage or 2 mL Tube Carriage, a minimum of 4 tubes (filled or empty) are required per run and must be spaced evenly. The positions of 1, 7, 13, and 19 on the 1.5ml and 2mL tube carriage are ideal for balancing the tubes (refer to the numbers etched into the tube carriage).
