Expansion enclosure components
Figure 3 shows the rear view of an expansion enclosure and identifies the location
of power supply units and expansion canisters.

locations.

Each canister has two SAS ports that are numbered 1 on the left and 2 on the right.
Port 1 is always used. Port 2 is used only if this is not the last enclosure in the
chain.
Miscellaneous hardware
The USB flash drive (Figure 5) is packaged with the publications and contains the
initialization tool for completing the initial system configuration.
