Defining Hardware
In the Siemens PG 720 Hardware Control submenu, you can define the

interface functions. These values must be re-entered particularly when you
have re-assigned interfaces or when you want to connect I/O devices (for
example an external monitor).

Risk of damaging the monitor!
If you are using a monitor with a higher resolution, switch CRT/LCD
selection to "CRT enabled" in the SETUP program. The higher resolution
must be set on the monitor you are using.
Setting a resolution that is too high in the SETUP program can damage the
monitor.
