TROUBLESHOOTING
The compact camera displays error code
beginning with E:**, C:**, or System error
The handling differs depending on the displayed error.
Check how to handle the concerned error.
C:13:01

C:13:01
Error is displayed when you are using the internal memory
Abnormality occurs in the internal memory.
Turn off the power and turn it on again.
If the situation is not improved, format the internal memory after backing up the stored
data.
WARNING: There is a risk of data loss. When you format the internal memory, all
stored images will be deleted including protected ones.
Error is displayed when you are using a memory card
Abnormality occurs in the memory card.

Turn off the camera, then insert and remove the memory card several times. After
that, turn on the camera again.
o
Insert another memory card.
o
When you are using a memory card used on your PC, backup the stored data and
format the memory card with the camera.
WARNING: There is a risk of data loss. When you format the memory card,
all stored images will be deleted including protected ones?
System error and C:32:01
1. Check whether the memory card is supported by the camera.
C:13:01 may be displayed when you shoot large data images such as movies.?
Use the memory cards shown below.

  • Page 4: The Battery Does Not Charge

    If the camera cannot be charged, does not turn on even after it was charged, or the power turns off immediately after it was turned on, inspection is necessary. If the issue is still unresolved, the product may need service The battery does not charge. Check the following concerning handling of the battery.  Battery performance temporarily declines when used in cold temperatures, reducing the time that it can be used. To get more operating time out of the battery when cold, warm it up in a pocket or the like, and then reattach it to the camera just before shooting.
  • Page 11 Is the battery pack always charging while the camera is connected to a computer or the supplied AC adaptor via a USB cable? Turn off the camera before you start charging the battery pack. If the camera is turned on, charging will not start. NOTE: An AC adaptor is not supplied with some models.
