Connecting cable
The connecting cable is an industrial cable, can tolerate bending in-line with what is required in
practice – and is resistant to many solvents and lubricants.
The connecting cable is available in various lengths. More detailed information is provided in the
Chapter "Accessories (Page 93)".

The ODU connector
The tightening torque for the nut of the ODU socket is 6.5 Nm.
Routing the connecting cable
1. Grease the connecting cable at the entry point with Vaseline.
This ensures a better seal and makes it easier to insert the connecting cable.
2. Insert the connecting cable into the entry.
Note
Ensure correct orientation of the connecting cable. The convex side of the anti-kink
protection must face away from the device as otherwise the cover will not lie flush on the
housing when screwed on.
