Testing the Safety Interlock System Test the safety interlock system before you use the machine each time. Replacing the Caster Wheel Fork Bushings The caster wheel forks are mounted in bushings pressed into the top and bottom of the carrier frame mounting tubes. To check the bushings, move the caster forks back and forth and side-to-side. If a caster fork is loose, the bushings are worn and must be replaced.
