Cleaning (Continued) CAUTION When you use the product for a longer period, white or brown water scales may attach to the inner part (Continued) of the water tray or on the surface of the humidifying filter. Water scales are residue minerals from tap-water that have not evaporated. If you continue to use the filter without cleaning the water scale, it will solidify and become difficult to remove, resulting in lower humidifying performance.
