  • Page 13 By combining with a measuring unit, the SIR-3000 series can be used to build the optimum system for measurement subjects. Support for 32 ch x 20 kHz is provided by combining the minimum configuration of the SIR-3100T and SIR-3032i/W. Connection of 4 SIR-3032i/W to the recording unit enables recording and playback at 128 ch x 5 kHz.

  • Page 17 2. Data Format and Basic Operations 2-1. Data Format Tapes recorded by the SIR-3100T are compliant with the AIT standard physical and logical formats (ECMA 246, 291, 292), but at the application level, the data is in the SIR dedicated format. This is outlined below.

Initialization of Recording Media (Formatting) When a different format or unformatted AIT cartridge is loaded in the SIR-3100T, the LCD screen automatically changes to the Utility screen and “Format” is selected.
