The Access Point has been designed to function right out of the box with the default settings . The default SSID is linksys-g and the default wireless channel is 6 . The Access Point has DHCP enabled by default and should receive an IP address automatically from the DHCP server on your network .

The first screen that appears is the Setup screen . This allows you to change the Access Point’s general settings . There are options on the left side of the screen: Setup, Wireless, AP Mode, Administration, and Status . Each option contains screens that will help you configure and manage the Access Point .

This option features WPA used in coordination with a RADIUS server for client authentication . (This should only be used when the Access Point is connected to a network that includes a RADIUS server .) This option features WPA2 used in coordination with a RADIUS server for client authentication .
