MACHINE´S SAFETY EQUIPMENT General • Start the power cutter and apply full throttle. Release the throttle control and check that the cutting blade stops and remains stationary. If the cutting blade rotates when the throttle is in the idle position you should check the WARNING! Never use a machine that has carburettor’s idle adjustment.

ASSEMBLING AND ADJUSTMENTS Reversible cutting head The machine is fitted with a reversible cutting head allowing cutting close to a wall or at ground level, restricted only by the thickness of the blade guard. There is an increased risk for kickback when cutting with the cutting head reversed.
Two-stroke oil • For best results and performance use HUSQVARNA two- stroke engine oil, which is specially formulated for our air- cooled two stroke-engines. • Never use two-stroke oil intended for water-cooled engines, sometimes referred to as outboard oil (rated TCW).
FUEL HANDLING Transport and storage • Store and transport the machine and fuel so that there is no risk of any leakage or fumes coming into contact with sparks or naked flames, for example, from electrical machinery, electric motors, electrical relays/switches or boilers.
