    Chapter 1: Introduction About This Manual This User Manual describes how to setup, use, and maintain the DNS-1250-04 and DNS-1250-06 NAS systems. It also describes how to use:  ShareCenterNAVI software that you install and run on your PC  ShareCenter Pro configuration manager software that runs on the NAS systems by browser.

    We highly recommend that you choose Enterprise Level HDDs to achieve the best data protection. You can populate the DNS-1250-04 and DNS-1250-06 NAS systems with SATA 1.5 Gb/s or 3.0 Gb/s physical drives. For optimal performance, install physical drives of the same model and capacity. Your physical drives become a RAID Volume on the NAS system.
