We highly recommend that you choose Enterprise Level HDDs to achieve the best data protection. You can populate the DNS-1250-04 and DNS-1250-06 NAS systems with SATA 1.5 Gb/s or 3.0 Gb/s physical drives. For optimal performance, install physical drives of the same model and capacity. Your physical drives become a RAID Volume on the NAS system.
