Canceling a Print Job
The procedure to cancel a print job depends
on the printer interface. See your system
administrator for additional information.
The Cancel key is not active during View
and Eject/Restore operations.
To cancel a print job, choose one of the
following steps:
For printers using a coax interface, in
non-SCS mode*: The Cancel key is not
active. Use the host system to cancel a
print job.
For printers using a coax interface, in SCS
mode *:
a Press Stop to place the printer in
NOT READY state.
b Press Cancel to clear the printer
buffer. This sends a cancel status
message to the host, which clears
the print job when the printer is
returned to the READY state. (When
Cancel is pressed, "059 CANCEL
PRINT ACTIVE" is displayed.)
Or you may use the host system to
cancel a print job.
