Chapter 1. Getting to know your computer Hotkeys Using hotkeys You can access certain system settings quickly by pressing the appropriate function keys. By pressing the appropriate hotkey, you can change system settings instantly. The following describes the function of each hotkey. Enables/disables airplane : Mutes/unmutes the sound.

Chapter 1. Getting to know your computer Setting hotkey mode By default, the hotkey functions are accessible by pressing the appropriate hotkey. However, you can disable the hotkey mode in the BIOS setup utility. To disable the hotkey mode: 1 Shut down the computer. 2 Press the Novo button and then select BIOS Setup.
From the Novo button menu, start the Lenovo OneKey Recovery system or the BIOS setup utility, or enter the boot menu. Note: For details, see “Chapter 3. Lenovo OneKey Recovery system” on page 20. Ventilation slots Dissipate internal heat.

The first time you plug a USB device into a particular USB port on your computer, Windows automatically installs a driver for that device. After the driver has been installed, you can disconnect and reconnect the device without performing any additional steps.
