2.7.5.3.
The fraction of the old shot data that is kept for averaging purposes. A
higher value will give a smoother profile at the expense of a slower echo
profile response. It may be necessary to reduce this value to a very low
number for FAST applications.
Values
2.7.6. Echo Quality
2.7.6.1.
Indicates echo reliability: higher values represent better echo quality. The
display shows the echo confidence of the last measurement. Echo
Threshold (2.7.3.2.) defines the minimum criterion for echo confidence.

2.7.6.2.
Displays the absolute strength (in dB above 1 μV rms) of the echo selected
as the measurement echo.

2.8.1. Auto False Echo Suppression
Note:
SIMATIC PDM or via local operation using the Auto False Echo Suppression
wizard.
Used together with Shaper Mode (2.8.4.) to screen out false echoes in a vessel
with known obstructions. A 'learned TVT' (time varying threshold) replaces the
default TVT over a specified range.
