Carry out the operation in the following table to make the required
setting.

You can use the DME INTERFACE menu for the following settings.
• Making the reentry cross-point button setting: Select the cross-point
button number for the required auxiliary bus output which is connected to
a DME and reinput to the switcher from a DME output.
• Setting the on-air tally function: Select the tally output mode to be applied
when a DME output is selected on the switcher.
SELF: When a DME output is selected on the switcher, a DME on-air
tally is output regardless of the DME state.
OFF: No on-air tally signals for the signals output from the DME unit are
output from the SERIAL TALLY connector.
Using the BKDS-7700 Tally Interface Unit to process the DME tally
information output from the DME-7000 makes it possible to obtain
accurate tally signals for the DME signals.
• Making the auxiliary bus setting for output to DMEs: Select the required
auxiliary bus from AUX 1 to AUX 8 connected as video/key input to
DMEs.
• Assigning DMEs for DME wipes: Select the DMEs used for DME wipes
on each of the M/E and PGM/PST banks.
Operation
According to the switcher port for which you wish to make
the setting, press one of F2 (PANEL1) to F9 (PANEL2).
• F2 toggles the setting between ENBL and DSBL.
• F3 to F9 cycle the setting through ENBL, DSBL and
MANUAL.
Press F10 (KF/SS).
This toggles the setting between ENBL and DSBL.
