NOTE: Before first use, remove any labels or stickers on the body or soleplate of the iron. On first use only, iron over an old cotton cloth using steps 1 thru 5 below on setting 3 or above (and the Surge button) to remove any protective surface treatments.

(A). For all models, turn the Heat/Fabric Dial to the appropriate setting for your fabric (B). On models without Auto-Off, the light will cycle on and off when the iron is on. Always stand the iron on its heel rest when powered on but not in use.

Surge the Heat/Fabric Dial to FILL, unplug, allow to cool, and store on heel rest. Wrap the cord, and clip in place. (C) STEAM IRONING Be sure the Heat/Fabric Dial is set within the Steam area (between settings 3-7) and there is water in the Water Tank. Turn the Adjustable Steam Knob (D) to (light), as indicated in the puff band over the fabric setting (see B).
