    Detergent drawer Intelligent Dosing System (i-DOS): Your washing machine features an intelligent dosing system for liquid detergent and sof- tener. Dispensers i-DOS (1.3 l) and i-DOS (0.5 l) in the detergent drawer are used for this. You can select whether you want to use one liquid detergent and one softener or two liquid detergents.

    Washing During the wash cycle the programme progress is indicated by a bar on the display panel. The bar progresses in the course of the wash cycle and provides information about the current programme progress. The arrows are switched on and off according to the programme progress.

    Automatic stain treatment General information about stains ² The Stains additional programme option for treating special stains can be found via the Options button. A total of 16 different stains can be selected. The washing machine adjusts the washing temperature, drum movement and soaking time specific to the type of stain.

    Intelligent Dosing System Your washing machine features an intelligent dosing system for liquid detergent and softener. Dispensers i-DOS (1.3 l) and i- (0.5 l) in the detergent drawer are used for this. You can select whether you want to use one liquid detergent and one softener or two liquid detergents.
  • Page 34 ² When selecting your detergent and care product, follow the instructions of the manufacturers. We recommend the use of standard, universal and color liquid and gel-like detergents for all machine-washable, coloured textiles made of cotton and synthetic materials. Ø Use only self-flowing liquid products and gels which the manufacturer recommends adding to a detergent drawer.
  • Page 35 ² The selection (on/off) of i-DOS and i-DOS is retained for each programme until the next change occurs, even if the machine is switched off. Ø Reloading detergent/softener The flashing of the associated illuminated display when intelligent dosage is selected and a corresponding message on the display panel indicate that the level is below the minimum.
  • Page 36 Ø If intensive foaming occurs repeatedly during washing, please check the basic dosage setting and dosage strength. Furthermore, some liquid detergents may have a tendency to excessive foaming. If the basic dosage settings and dosage strengths are correct, it is recommended to use a different liquid detergent.

    Sensors – Your washing machine is so intelligent Load adjust Depending on the type of textile and load, the load adjust optimally adjusts the water consumption in each programme. Aqua-Sensor During the wash and rinse cycles the Aqua sensor checks the degree of turbidity (turbidity is caused by dirt and detergent residue) of the washing and rinsing water.

  • Page 43 Ø Cleaning dispensers/detergent drawer To clean the drained dispensers, the detergent drawer can be completely removed. 1. Drain dispensers before removing them. ² Re-attach drawer handle only after cleaning. 2. Open drawer. 3. Press release lever and completely remove drawer. 4.

Note: Residual water may run out. Carefully unscrew the pump cover. Clean the interior, pump cover thread and pump housing (fan impeller in the detergent-solution pump must rotate).
