Using the Optional Functions
Child Lock Function
Use this option to prevent accidents caused by children
manipulating the buttons while washing is in progress.
Activating or Deactivating the Child Lock
Function
• You can activate or deactivate Child Lock by pressing
down the Tub clean and Extra Rinse buttons at the
same time for 3 seconds.
• If Child Lock is activated, you cannot control any
buttons except for the power button.
• When you set this function during the product

Changing the Cycle or Option while the Child
Lock Function is Activated

Press the Tub Clean and Extra Rinse buttons at the
same time for 3 seconds to deactivate Child Lock.

Press the Start/Pause button to stop operation.

Select a cycle or option which you wish to change,
and then press the Start/Pause button to resume
operation.
NOTE
• Child Lock will not be deactivated automatically
after all cycles are complete. Press the Child Lock
button for about three seconds to deactivate Child
Lock.
• If Child Lock is activated accidentally, press the
Child Lock button for three seconds to deactivate
Child Lock.
• If you turn on the power while the Child Lock
function is activated, the Child Lock lamp will be
lit.

Use this option to keep the drum clean by sterilizing
germs within the drum.
