PLAYBACK Start point: Turn the TV set on and select the video programme number). Controls VCR Display Insert a cassette. TAPE NAVIGATION Tape Navigation Function Whenever the VCR records a programme, the Tape Navigation function stores specific information in the VCR memory. This information can be displayed on the TV screen in a directory, and used to locate either a recorded programme you want to watch or the beginning of a non-recorded section of tape.
