TAPE NAVIGATION
Tape Navigation Function
Whenever the VCR records a programme, the Tape Navigation function stores specific information in the
VCR memory. This information can be displayed on the TV screen in a directory, and used to locate either
a recorded programme you want to watch or the beginning of a non-recorded section of tape. The
information also includes genre marks that you can use to designate each programme in the TAPE NAVI
menu.
• Tape Navigation can operate only with tapes recorded on this VCR.
• This VCR has a memory capacity which can store about 200 programmes.
• Tape Navigation data will be memorised even during power failure, and the data will not be erased
unless there is a memory defect.
