Personalization Acoustic signals The machine is provided of an acoustic device, which sounds in the following cases: at the end of the cycle ● in the event of operating problems ● By pressing the Prewash and Stain buttons simultaneously for about 6 seconds, the acoustic signal is deactivated (except for the events of operating problems). -

Daily Use Load the laundry 1. Open the door by carefully pulling the door handle outwards. Place the laundry in the drum, one item at a time, shaking them out as much as possible. 2. Close firmly the door. You must hear a click during closing. -

1000 The relevant light will light up. Maximum speed are: Lavamat 60840: 1000 rpm for all type of fabrics. ● Lavamat 62840: 1200 rpm for all type of fabrics. -

Lavamat 64840: for cottons and ECO: 1400 rpm. ● for synthetics, wool, handwash and delicate fabrics: 1200 rpm. ● Rinse Hold : by selecting this option the water of the last rinse is not emptied out to prevent the fabrics from creasing. When the programme has finished the display shows a flashing, the pilot lights Door goes on, the Start/Pause light... -

Select the Prewash option Select this option if you wish your laundry to be prewashed at 30°C before the main wash. The Prewash ends with a short spin in programmes for cotton and synthetic fabrics, whereas in the programmes for delicate fabrics the water is only drained. -

On the display will be visualized the decreased washing time. The maximum load is 6 kg for cottons and 2 kg for synthetics and delicates. By pressing this button twice, the relative pilot light remains lit, the washing duration will be reduced to wash lightly soiled laundry or items that have been used or worn for a short time. -

Alarm codes In the event of operating problems, some alarm codes can be displayed, for example (see paragraph «Something not working»). End of programme When the programme has finished a flashing zero is displayed, the pilot light and the Start/Pause light go out and the door can be opened. -

You must select this option after you have set the programme and before you press the Start/Pause button. The wash programme can be delayed from 30 min - 60 min - 90 min, 2 hours and then by 1 hour up to a maximum of 20 hours by means of this button. If you wish to add laundry in the machine during the delay time you will press Start/Pause button to put the machine in pause. -

Select an additional rinse This appliance is designed for saving water. However, for people with a very delicate skin (allergic to detergents) it may 1000 be necessary to rinse the laundry using an extra quantity of water (extra rinse). Press simultaneously the Spin Speed and Prewash buttons for some seconds: the Extra Rinse pilot light comes on in the programme progress display. -

At the end of the programme The machine stops automatically, the Start/Pause light goes off and a flashing will appear on the display. If the Rinse Hold option have been selected, the Door pilot light illuminates, a flashing will appear on the display, the Start/Pause light goes off and the door remains locked to indicate that the water must be emptied out before opening the door. -

General rules: Cotton, linen: drum full but not too tightly packed; Synthetics: drum no more than half full Delicate fabrics and woollens: drum no more than one third full. Washing a maximum load makes the most efficient use of water and energy. -

Blood: treat fresh stains with cold water. For dried stains, soak overnight in water with a special detergent then rub in the soap and water. -

Installation Installation Unpacking All transit bolts and packing must be removed before using the appliance. You are advised to keep all transit devices so that they can be refitted if the machine ever has to be transported again. 1. After removing all the packaging, carefully lay machine on it’s back to remove the polystyrene base from the bottom. - Page 42 Installation 4.
