Troubleshooting for Repair service

Power key failure
Context
If the power key does not work properly, follow these instructions:
Steps
1. Check the power switch.
2. Replace BTB flex.
UI module keys troubleshooting
If the UI module keys are not working, do the following:
1 Check/replace UI-flex
2 Check baseband (if LED)
3 Replace PWB
Audio
Troubleshooting: Audio general
Steps
1. Make sure the UI board is OK by testing it in a known good phone
2. Make sure openings are clean
3. Make sure BTB flex is properly mounted
4. Make sure the problem is not in the accessory only
5. Problems with both IHF and earpiece? Try to reflash the phone. If that does not work, replace PWB and
UI board.
6. Mechanical noise? Check for loose components and damaged shielding cans.
7. Noise in mp3 file? Try with a known good music file.
Troubleshooting: IHF
Steps
1. Earpiece audio is OK (IHF not activated)
2. Make sure openings are clean
3. Check speaker and contacts
4. Check IHF amplifier
5. Replace IHF speaker module
6. Replace PWB
Troubleshooting: Microphone
Steps
1. Make sure mute is deactivated
2. Try with a headset - does the headset microphone work?
3. Make sure the microphone opening is clean
