Slide switch
This is a slide phone that wakes up when it slides open. A switch detects the position of the slide. It is
implemented with a Hall IC and a magnet.
The signal from the Hall IC is connected to the HEADINT, that is an interrupt input. The Hall solution requires
a magnet, which is placed on top of the Hall IC, and is moved away from the sensor with the moving
mechanics, making a change of the magnetic field.
The output from the Hall IC is high (2.78 V) when the slide is open.
Audio concept
The audio concept includes an earpiece, a microphone, and a PopPort connector for headset and integrated
handsfree (IHF). Audio is based on Tiku, UEMEK and a discrete amplifier for the handsfree speaker, the boomer.
