tcp max-retransmissions
To specify the maximum number of times a packet is retransmitted before TCP decides to close the
connection, use the tcp max-retransmissions command. Use the no form of this command to disable
this feature or revert to its factory defaults.

Usage Guidelines
The default is 4 and the range is from 1 to 8 retransmissions.
Examples
The following example configures a FCIP profile:
switch# config terminal
switch(config)# fcip profile 5
The following example specifies the maximum number of retransmissions :
switch(config-profile)# tcp max-retransmissions 6
