Programming the timer without using VIDEO Plus+ programming system
Things to know before starting programming
• While you are programming the timer, the
display panel on the handset will prompt you
through the procedure.
• Always press the
0
digit channel, hour and minute etc.
• You have about one minute to complete each
step of the procedure. If you do not proceed to
the next step within this time, all entries are
erased and you must start again.

• You can correct an error in the programme any
time before the last step by pressing the
CORRECT button repeatedly until the digit to be
corrected flashes and then enter the correct
digit.
• Check that the time and date are correct.
Be sure to check that "VCR1" or "VCR2" is
displayed.
This VCR is designed so it can be controlled when
either "VCR1" or "VCR2" is selected.

Select the TV programme number to be recorded.

For example, press 21 for TV station 21.

To record video and audio signals from external
equipment via the Scart socket on the back of the
VCR, press the AUX button so that "L1" is
displayed in the display panel in place of a

programme number.
To record via the DECODER socket on the back of
the VCR, press the AUX button again to display
"L2".
To record a satellite programme, press the AUX
SAT

button twice to display "SAT". Then enter the
programme number of the satellite receiver.

Select the start time.

For example, press 1600 for 16:00 (4:00 p.m.).
0:00 for midnight

For example, press 1800 for 18:00 (6:00 p.m.).
