Operating Guide
Identifies the tape in the VCR.
Shows the number of programmes recorded on the tape.
Shows the approximate length of specific recorded programme and its
location on tape.
Shows that you have already watched more than half of a recorded
programme from the start.
Select and attach genre marks to record programmes to identify them.
Shows the blank (non-recorded) section of tape and the remaining
recording time on tape.
Shows the remaining of non-recorded section of tape and the remaining
recording time on tape.
Shows the button names and operations that can be done when the TAPE
NAVI data menu is being displayed.
Cassette with Tape Navigation data
Insert a cassette recorded on this VCR.
FWD
The VCR will check the Tape Navigation data. The
TAPE NAVIGATION button will flash for a few
seconds, and then change to steady lighting if the
VCR has recognised the tape.
Press the TAPE NAVIGATION button on the VCR
or the NAVI button on the remote control.
The tape data menu will appear on the TV screen.
Note: If the cassette in the VCR does not have
Tape Navigation data, refer to "Cassette without
Tape Navigation data" on page 44.
Press the buttons displayed in the menu to choose
the operation you want.
