Configuring VLANs
Make sure that you assign the switch ports to a VLAN of the proper type. For example, assign the

Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, and Gigabit Ethernet ports to the Ethernet-type VLANs.
To assign one or more switch ports to a VLAN, perform this task in privileged mode:
