The input cable must be protected with fuses. Suitable UL Recognized fuses are listed
on page 191. These fuses provide branch circuit protection in accordance with the
National Electrical Code (NEC). For installation in the United States, obey any other
applicable local codes. For installation in Canada, obey any applicable provincial
codes.
Note: Circuit breakers must not be used without fuses in the USA. For suitable circuit
breakers, contact your local ABB representative.
WARNING! The opening of the branch-circuit protective device may be an
indication that a fault current has been interrupted. To reduce the risk of fire or
electric shock, current-carrying parts and other components of the controller
should be examined and replaced if damaged.
