The DPA 7630/7610 fully supports 10/100 Mbps half- and full-duplex Ethernet.
Follow these steps to configure these settings on DPA 7630/7610 appropriate for
your network.
From the main menu, choose Configure.
Choose Network interface.
Choose Ethernet.
Choose the option that matches the setting on the switch to which the
DPA 7630/7610 is connected:
auto-negotiation
•
10Mb/s half duplex
•
10Mb/s full duplex
•
100Mb/s half duplex
•
100Mb/s full duplex
•
Restart the DPA 7630/7610.
If you are using Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) in your network,
the DPA 7630/7610 automatically obtains an IP address when you connect it to
the network. Although the DPA 7630/7610 uses DHCP by default, you can
disable DHCP and manually assign an IP address to the DPA 7630/7610.
To use DHCP, perform these steps:
From the main menu, choose Configure.
Choose Network interface.
