Replacing the component

Rexroth IndraDrive Mi Drive Systems with KCU02 KSM02, KMS02/03, KMV03, KNK03
1. Observe the instructions contained in the machine documentation.
2. Use the machine-side control commands to bring the drive to a control‐
led standstill.
3. Switch off the power voltage and control voltage of the controller.
4. Switch off the main switch of the machine.
5. Secure the machine against accidental movements and against unau‐
thorized operation.
6. Wait to allow the electric systems to discharge and then disconnect all
electrical connections.
7. Before dismounting them, secure the motor and, if necessary, the fan
unit against falling or movements, before unfastening the mechanical
connections.
WARNING
Do not work at running or unsecured installations.
Before starting to dismount, secure the machine against accidental
movements and unauthorized operation.
Before dismounting them, secure the motor and the supply lines unit
against falling or movements, before unfastening the mechanical con‐
nections.
CAUTION
Before beginning to work, let the motors cool down. The thermal time
constant specified in the Technical Data is a measure for the time re‐
quired for cooling down. Cooling down can require up to 140 minutes!
Do not work at hot surfaces.
Wear safety gloves.
1. Observe the instructions contained in the machine documentation.
2. Observe the Safety Instructions and carry out all steps according to the

against falling or movements, before unfastening the mechanical con‐
nections.
4. Dismount the motor from the machine.
5. Store the motor appropriately.
Always replace a defective component with a new component of
the same type.
